Terms and Conditions

The property in this week’s sale will be offered by Klass A Auctions as the Consigner’s agent according to the following terms and conditions.

Purchasing -Bidding

  1. All purchasers are required to obtain a weekly bidder number. Sign up in person or on line to bid leaving contact information

  2. A bid by any person shall be proof the person has made themselves familiar with all sale conditions and has agreed to be bound by them.

  3. The property shall become the bidders upon conclusion of a successful bid. This will be indicated by the announcement of the successful bidder’s number by the auctioneer. The bidder then assumes full risk and responsibility for said item.

  4. The buyer shall be the highest bidder. Should a tie or dispute arise between two bidders, the auctioneers discretion may re-open the bidding between the high bidders until property is sold or determine and will be the final say in which bidder is the highest.

  5. It shall be the auctioneer’s discretion to advance bidding and has the ability to reject a nominal bid if in the auctioneer’s estimation, prove insignificant to the sale.

Articles for Sale

  1. All articles sold "As Is" and all sales are final. Property is open to thorough public inspection and is the bidder's responsibility to determine condition, etc. No guarantees, warranties or refunds are given by Klass A Auctions at any time.

  2. Though all description and discussions with Consigner are believed to be correct, neither Klass A Auctions nor the Consigner provides any warranties, guarantees or representations of any kind with respect to the articles sold.

  3. The agent and/or consigner shall not be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of description, condition, genuineness, authorship, time period, culture, source, origin, etc.

Absentee Bidding

  1. In the case upon which there may be an absentee bid, the designated staff shall have the right to bid on behalf of the absentee bidder to a maximum the bidder has indicated in writing prior to sale.

  2. Klass A Auctions has the right to refuse any absentee bid in person or electronically.

Payments & Removal

  1. All bids must be paid in full before leaving the premises on the day of sale.

  2. Prior to removal of purchases, payment must be made in cash, debit card or credit card. Unless exempt by law, the purchaser shall pay all applicable taxes.

  3. All property shall be removed from the premises by the purchaser at their own risk and expense at the conclusion of the day’s sale. If not removed will be subject to resale if arrangements have not been made with Klass A Auctions within 24 hours.

  4. Removal of Absentee bid items and payment should be within 48 hours of sale. Payments for all successful absentee maybe made by cash, debit card, or credit card. Removal and responsibility of all items fall under the same ruling as attending bidders.

Responsibilities

  1. Klass A Auctions reserves the right to withdraw any item before or during the sale due to extenuating circumstances.

  2. Neither Auctioneer nor Consignor shall be liable for any personal injury on the premises where sale is held.

  3. No claims will be allowed after goods are removed from the premises.

  4. All verbal announcements take precedence at time of sale.

  5. All items are held on site but are the liability of the owner until the item is sold.
